When I was ten years old my grandfather bought my sister a coin necklace that made her absolutely special. My sister had been asking for a coin necklace for the longest time, because a large number of her friends had been sporting them for years. Time and time again my sister would ask for a coin necklace on almost every special occasion and for some reason people would forget about it and even though she would still get some pretty cool gifts she was always left without her precious coin necklace. However, on her tenth birthday my grandfather changed all of that in a heartbeat. This time she decided to concentrate all her coin jewelry begging energy on my grandfather. She thought that if she could focus all her energy on one person it would be very difficult for that person to forget about her coin necklace. Not knowing whether her approach had worked, she opened her pretty little gift box with a lot of hope. The moment she saw her brand new coin necklace inside that little box, it was as if someone turned on a light inside of her that had been turned off for a very long time.
