For the longest time, my mother has been a huge fan of handcrafted jewelry. When I was a lot younger she used to tell me about all the time she would spend with my great grandmother hunting for handcrafted jewelry and how they would always end the day with a nice two-scoop ice cream cone. Today my mother gets her handcrafted jewelry online, but she still loves to finish her handcrafted jewelry online shopping with a nice ice cream cone. Just last week, she had two of her grandsons at home and had them join her on her quest for new handcrafted jewelry. The kids were absolutely mesmerized by all the beautiful styles and colors they were seeing on the screen and one of them even said, “Grandma are you sure these is handcrafted jewelry, because they look like candy”, and my mom said, “Well, handcrafted jewelry is candy you wear not candy you eat.” She even allowed the grandkids to pick some nice handmade jewelry for her and once they were done it was time for that good old ice cream cone. I did see some hot fudge on one of those cones and I have to say that if this is the price for handcrafted jewelry shopping then sign me up.
