Coin jewelry is very common in Middle Eastern cultures |

I'm Middle Eastern and there's one thing I've seen within my own culture, coin jewelry. I don't know what the significance is of coin jewelry but I've found that it's a cultural thing. I never had any coin jewelry growing up but got a very nice coin jewelry bracelet for Christmas one year when I was in my twenties. I haven't worn the bracelet in awhile because I need to have a safety chain put on it, but every so often I pull it out for fun.
For as much as coin jewelry is common in my culture, I really haven't seen anyone wearing coin jewelry in a few years. I some times wonder if coin jewelry is a trend of the past, but that could just be because I don't spend a lot of time with other Middle Easterners outside of my family. I still like coin jewelry and really do want to wear my bracelet, I just need to do some online research to find a good, reputable jeweler to add a safety latch or chain to the bracelet. One day I'll finally get a safety latch or chain put on the bracelet so I can once again wear my coin jewelry.
