I went with a friend a few weeks ago to an arts and crafts fair in our area. Those fairs are always fun to browse and eat the yummy food. The artists at these fairs are so talented with all their handcrafted household items and handmade jewelry. Both my friend and I drooled over what we would like for our homes and what handcrafted jewelry we would purchase, if we had the extra money. Fair prices can be steep, but it is still fun to see the latest creations. My friend’s birthday was coming up and I took note of what type of handmade jewelry she particularly liked. She was into beaded jewelry of all sorts and liked the blue and green hues. We spent the rest of the day walking, eating and listening to the local entertainment that was being offered too. When I got home, I went online to look at handcrafted jewelry and find something I thought she would like. BINGO! I found several beaded necklaces and earrings that had her favorite colors and chose some pretty earrings for her birthday gift at a price I could afford. I was very pleased with myself and can’t wait to give her my gift in a couple of weeks.
