When I have my grandkids over I am always looking for something to do that is interactive. I so enjoy them and don't want to waste a minute of our time together. I get many of my ideas from the internet. I have searched for crafts, outdoor activities and games with great success.

One thing the grandkids and I have found great joy in is making handcrafted jewelry. I found at least ten handmade jewelry kits during my on line searches. I ordered them and stored them in a cupboard until just recently. Over the Holidays the grandkids and I picked out a few of those handmade jewelry kits. It kept us busy for a couple days. I was very pleased and the resultant pieces of jewelry were pretty cool!

We donned our handcrafted wares as we enjoyed a dinner at a local eatery. The grandkids felt all dressed up and we had a great time. They even made a couple pieces of jewelry that they will give their mother for her January birthday. I am sure she will love the handcrafted jewelry and wear it proudly.
